Cuticle is the dead skin on the nail plate. Some people mistakenly think the living skin on the nail plate is the cuticle. The living skin is called eponychium and should not be cut as this skin protects the nail from infection. To properly remove the cuticle, or dead skin, soak your nails in warm water and gently push back. There are also some cuticle remover products available to help dissolve the dry skin. Aveda’s Cuticle Control is a mineral based product that helps break down the cuticle so that it is easily removed. Any cuticle remover should be carefully cleaned off the nail bed before polishing. These products are meant to break down protein and excessive contact with your nail bed may cause your nail bed to soften.

All Points Limo at Ladies Night Out

All Points Limousine was invited to participate in Leominster’s ladies night out event. We were very pleased to be a part of the exciting activities. We offered a free shuttle to three participating restaurants and had many ladies take advantage of this service.
It was nice to offer a value added service as part of our contribution to this great event. We were also able to park one of our limousines right out in front of City hall. We opened the doors and let anyone interested see the inside of the limo. We raffled off a 3 hour limousine package and had over 100 entries. Our winner was a nice lady from Leominster.
It was very nice to show the ladies what we do and how inexpensive a limo can be to add class and pizzazz to your event. We had many inquiries about our wedding packages and special events. The amazing thing is that the very next day one of those lovely ladies called and booked a limo for her grandmother’s 95th birthday. He grandmother has never been in a limo before and this is going to be such a treat for her.
This event not only brought my company business but recognition for the great services we offer. We can’t wait till next year!

Celebrating our first year in business!
My brother John and I purchased All Points Limousine on July 23, 2008. We took over the operation with the help of our wonderful mother Bonnie. Bonnie has been instrumental in getting this business up and running in a much more efficient way. She has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry and has brought all of her knowledge to All Points.
Our first year has been exciting and challenging. We took over right in the heart of the economic down turn when gas was at $4 a gallon. We were very lucky to have a great group of employees of which most stayed on with our new management. Our employees are the hearth of our business. This is a group of people that understand the challenges of business as well as the importance of the client. They take the extra step to make the client feel safe and welcome. Together we have made it through our first year and the future is looking brighter every day.
My family has joined together to make this business a success. My Brother John manages the fleet with the help of my husband Dave and my son Zac. They make a great team whether it is a simple oil change or a complex electrical issue. They work very hard to keep the cars clean and safe.
All Points offers a wide variety of services. We can get you in and out of any airport without a fuss. We have a dedicated staff of professional chauffeurs who will make you wedding day travel stress free. Our fleet can shuttle larger groups for corporate conferences or training. Curves of Leominster participates in Ladies Night Out and Fashion Show at City Hall
Thursday, August 20 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
It was a wonderful night for the community of ladies to get together. Over 50 local businesses and organizations offered hundreds of women of all ages sales and specials for the second annual Ladies Night Out event. More than 500 people attended the event.
Leominster Curves participated in the Ladies Night Out Fashion Show. The curvaceous clothing line took to the runway on August 20, 2009 at City Hall in Leominster, MA. Two Leominster, MA members were the models. Karen McNall – A Curves member since 2005 was excited about the event. Karen even bought new shoes to match each of her outfits to complete the ensenble. Our other model and Leominster Curves Member since 2003, Kathy Haskell, even carried her workout bags part of the curvaceous line as well as her CurvesSmart keytag. Many ladies in the audience had no idea that Curves had it’s own clothing line.

Leominster Curves participates in ’09 Summer Stroll
Are you ready to stroll? Well if not get ready. The third annual summer stroll is geared to bring us all back to the days when life was simpler, neighbors got together for an afternoon of fun in the hub of the city, and local business owners held sidewalk sales, and many other events throughout the day.
The event will transform downtown Leominster back to the days of the 1950’s and 1960’s when the streets were not full of traffic jams but instead people walking everywhere. The event took place on June 27 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. More than 20 businesses participated in the Summer Stroll. Curves being one of them. Curves of Leominster held a hula-hoop contest. What a fun-filled afternoon it was. You see people in their 80’s to teenagers and families with small kids. There is something for everyone going on. Music, food, friends, sales and just a chance to have some good old fun. This is a true community event and gives people a chance to see neighbors they probably haven’t seen because we are all so busy. You get a chance to talk to people, see the stores and businesses, there is no traffic as the streets are closed off and just walk around enjoying it all. A great time was held by all.
