Joining the staff at Luxury Cuts Barber Shop in Leominster will be Matthew Poudrette, one of the best barbers in the area specializing in men’s styling and beard trims. ‘Willo’, who specializes in fades and hot-towel straight-blade shaves, will also join the Leominster staff. Also, Vicente Huertas will be a great addition after graduating from Alexander Academy Barber/Stylist School, states Carlos.
Carlos notes that Luxury Cuts Barber Shop takes appointments and also accommodates walk-ins. They are open 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. He further states that Senior Citizens Discounts are available every day!
Carlos is the first alumni of Alexander Academy to open a multiple-location business. He receives much gratification from creating jobs that support other area families. and speaking of family; Carlos stresses that his shop is very family oriented.
Carlos worked with Ray Belanger at Twin Cities Community Development Corporation to create a comprehensive business plan to launch the initial business and again to expand to the second location. Funding for the Fitchburg location was provided through the City of Fitchburg Micro-Loan Fund Program and the Leominster location has been funded by the North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation Micro-Loan Program.
